BALLROOM WORKSHOPS: VOGUE RUNWAY @ GOSFORD:

House of Slay is our very special guest!  And pumped to come back and this time adding another category (Runway). 

Bring your best fashion runway look and/or pieces/props (even if its just bangles). We will also bring ball pieces for anyone that needs to add on to their looks for the runway.

    Learning Vogue Elements to get you prepped for the Mini Ball.

    Beginners who have never walked before come learn to slay a walk way!

    Learn how to get your 10's at the ball by Ballroom royalty - Taimania & Eliam Royalness

    Schedule:

    10.30am - 12 vogue

    12-12.30 - lunch

    12.30pm- 1.30pm runway & ball prep

    1.30pm - 2pm Ball !!!!!!

    About your Facilitators:

    Polynesian Princess/Ballroom Royalty: TAIMANIA

    "The reigning princess of Australian Ballroom, Taimania, is a Runway Diva, Ballroom mother, and Vogue sensation. Adding to her accolades, she holds the title of world hip-hop silver medalist, amassing over a decade of experience in the dance industry. Taimania's distinctive personal style is a fusion of her cultural roots, urban hip-hop, and the essence of ballroom."

    Eliam Royalness

    Choreographer & performer who has been creating dance works since his teenage years. With the influence of his
    Polynesian heritage and his raw training in various street dance styles, Eliam is the founder and director of Australia’s national
    champion megacrew, The Pioneers MC, who’ve represented Australia at Hip-Hop International in the U.S.
    He is also the most awarded performance figure of Ballroom Australia (Vogue); as the Father of the House of Juicy-Slé (AUS) and a member of the House of Oricci (USA). Eliam’s style is influenced by elements of various genres under the street dance umbrella. He’s trained in the foundations of Whacking, Hip-Hop Grooves, Afro dance styles, and Vogue; and incorporates these foundations into
    his movement and choreography.

    You don't have to know how to walk the runway or dance to attend, just be ready or want to be ready to SLAY!~

    Who: 12 - 24 yr olds  

    Fully accessible venue.

    You must register to attend.

    Please do not register if you will not be attending as it impacts what we can do and costs the charity money. We also have a 3 strikes (no shows) rule.
