The Suter Art Gallery
nelson, new zealand
Event description
Discover the magic of art at The Suter this summer. Join our exciting workshops for kids aged 7-12 and unleash your creativity.
October School Holiday Workshops:
- Touch the Earth: Get tactile with finger painting and other ways to apply natural coloured pigment to create flowing abstract images, inspired by the beautiful artwork of Raukura Turei.
- Fantastic Lands: Have fun populating fantasy landscapes with characters you invent, inspired by the imaginative artwork of Bill Hammond.
- Something to Hold: Use air dry clay to create a container to hold your treasures. Make some treasures while you are at it! This is inspired by the exhibition Hineukurangi showcasing Māori clay artists.
