School Holiday Workshop: Clay Wind Chimes (Ages 10+)

Date & Time: Friday 3 August, 10:00am–12:00pm

Where: Bridges Restaurant, Hurstbridge

Perfect for: creative kids aged 10+ (no prior experience needed)

Let the kids get hands-on with clay and design their very own wind chime! In this two-hour, guided workshop, they’ll hand-build ceramic elements, decorate them with patterns and textures, and assemble a chime to take home and hang proudly.

What they’ll learn

• Basic hand-building techniques (pinching, rolling, joining)

• How to create texture & simple patterns

• Assembling and balancing a hanging chime

• Finishing & care tips for their piece

• A completed clay wind chime they made themselves

• New skills, confidence, and plenty of creative inspo

This session is led by an experienced ceramic artist & facilitator who works with kids—patient, encouraging, and big on safe, hands-on learning.
