School Holidays Mozzarella and Mascarpone Magic

Event description

Looking for something different to do in the school holidays? Cheesemaking is fun for kids and they even accidentally get to learn some science!

In this workshop you can bring a child along for free (one primary or intermediate school aged child per adult). We will make Mozzarella and Mascarpone - two very Italian and very popular cheeses. We will also make a very special treat - South American Cheese Balls!

You will take home 4 balls of Mozzarella that you made together, a container of Mascarpone and some cheese balls to cook at home - if you haven't eaten them all at the workshop! You will also take home a workbook with all the information and recipes from the workshop.

While we make our creations there will be a cheese board to nibble on throughout the course and we will also enjoy some other treats that the kids will approve of. At the end while we wait for your cheese to be ready to take home we will enjoy a dessert made with Mascarpone.

This is a fun day out with plenty of learning for both you and whoever you bring along and will mean they get to go back to school with a great story to share!
