Term 3 School-Link Professional Development Session: Disruptive behaviour disorders: Managing Student Behaviour in the School Context

Presentation by Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) School-Link Team

The presentation explores the latest evidence, a case study discussion, the application of a risk management template, as well as static and dynamic risk factors, to guide risk management and balance safety in schools. We aim to support school personnel to feel better equipped to respond to and support the needs of young people displaying challenging behaviours. It is our hope, that with improved understanding, partnerships, and collaborative approach, we may better support young people with disruptive behaviours remain engaged within education and learning systems.
