    FREE WORKSHOP

    Join us to create your own visual narratives with artist Josh Dalka, in this afternoon drawing workshop.

    This drawing class will cover a mix of drawing exercises, prompts and stimuli for creating visual narratives from personal experience. It is suited for adults from all backgrounds and levels of creative knowledge. Structured as a brainstorming exercise, in this class we will sketch out the beginnings of both individual and collaborative expression.

    Workshop Information:

    • This is a free event.
    • All materials provided (feel free to bring your own if you have a preferred medium)
    • 18+ (alcohol served)
    • Tea, biscuits and nibbles provided.

    Location: Bluestone Church. 8A Hyde Street, Footscray 3011.

    Accessibility: Venue is wheelchair accessible, including ambulant bathroom facilities.

    Parking: Limited 2 hour visitor parking available at Footscray Town Hall. Further 4 hour street parking available in surrounding streets. Please ensure you review the signs before parking.

    Dietary requirements: Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements, but be aware that we cannot guarantee no cross contamination as this is a catered event.

    About the Artist

    Josh Dalka

    Josh is an Interdisciplinary artist, primarily creating works around themes of alternate history and fictitious timelines, showing the potential consequences that can unfold. He draws influence from different periods and media, often moving between historical knowledge and unapologetic ignorance.
