"Is my child ready for school?”

This is asked of Early Childhood Educators regularly and the problem in answering this, is that the NSW Government has made this decision quite difficult, with a window of 18 months for children being eligible for school.

We will provide the foundations for understanding and being able to answer this question, along with loads of teaching tips and strategies to assist in preparing children for this very important transition.

We will discuss best practice in providing this information to parents.

If you are a Proficient Early Childhood Teacher attending this online workshop it is NESA endorsed.

The workshop is presented using a PowerPoint presentation which will be emailed to you prior to the workshop.

There will also be ample time to ask questions during the session and at the end.

All attendee's will receive a certificate on completion of the workshop

Completing Set for Success - School Readiness Training will contribute 2 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) registered PD addressing 6.2.2 and 7.3.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teaching towards Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.

This event will be LIVE online as specified by NESA. There will be no option for watching a recording after the workshop.
