The Power of Local Policy: Open Enrollment Explained

Join us for an evening of dinner, learning, and conversation about K–12 open enrollment and school choice. Hear from leading policy experts as they discuss how open enrollment policies work, what they mean for students and families, and the opportunities and challenges facing schools and communities.

This event comes as North Carolina is required through the new budget to formally study open enrollment, gather information from school districts, and potentially consider legislation next year to enact it statewide. School board members and district leaders are encouraged to attend to hear how fellow states and communities have implemented open enrollment and the lessons they've learned.
