The USU is excited to invite all high school students to be involved in our Online Debates Tournament!

This will be a tournament aimed at high school students run entirely online, every Wednesday for a 4 week period. Students will be separated into junior (years 7-9) or senior (10-12) competition and participate in a round of debates each week.

Dates:
Wednesdays
- 13 Oct
- 20 Oct
- 27 Oct
- 3 Nov - Finals

Draft Schedule:
4:00pm - schools to check in on Zoom
4:15pm - Junior Division prep starts
4:45pm - Junior Debates start
5:00pm - Senior Division prep starts
5:30pm - Senior Debates start
6:15pm - finish.

Important Information:
- $50 is the price PER team
- Each division is capped at 16 teams
- Teams can be a mix of any grade within the selected division i.e. Junior teams can be a mix of years 7, 8 or 9
- There is a cap of TWO teams per school, this can be two within the same division or one in the senior and one in junior. If you would like to be put on the waitlist for any remaining slots please email c.crawford@usu.edu.au
- Teams can be made up of a maximum of FIVE students
- Registration will close Monday 11th October unless sold out prior

Please note - the entire tournament will be online through the USU Zoom account. Zoom links will be provided the week of the tournament beginning. Although tickets ask for student names, these are flexible and can be updated as needed.
