The Physics of Light
Have you ever wondered how rainbows form, why mirrors reflect images, or how light can bend and change direction? Join us for an exciting hands-on exploration of the Physics of Light at Mid North Christian College!
Led by Mrs Smith, Year 12 Physics Teacher, this workshop will introduce students to the amazing science behind light through fascinating demonstrations, interactive experiments, problem-solving challenges, and hands-on activities.
Students will investigate how light travels, reflects, refracts, and creates the colourful world we see around us. Whether you're a curious scientist or simply love discovering how things work, this workshop is sure to spark your imagination!
Session Details
Date: This Spring Holidays - Tuesday 29 September
🔹 Grades 2-4: 90-minute session at 9:30am
🔹 Grades 5-6: 90-minute session at 11:30am
This workshop counts towards Children's University learning hours.
Students should bring their Children's University Passport to receive their stamp.
