Science by the Sea

Science by the Sea brings together researchers from Flinders and Adelaide Universities, and local environmental groups currently probing, sampling, observing, mapping and measuring the marine life and oceanographic processes in Coffin Bay. 

The lineup of speaker includes 

• Janine Baker (Marine Janine): Marine Hitchhikers of Eastern and Southern Eyre Peninsula.
• Dr Adrian Werner, Flinders University, “The threat to Coffin Bay from nutrient enrichment” .
• Dr Dom McAfee (a.k.a the oyster nerd), Adelaide University, Coffin Bay native Oyster Reefs, exciting update.
• Discussion: all speakers plus local community conservation groups Lower Eyre Coastcare and eyrelab
