Science Cafe: Future Farming
Event description
For our final Science Cafe of the year we're going to be digging into delicious produce and chatting about the future of farming at the Serpentine-Jarrahdale Farmers Market.
Come along and pop inside the SJ community resource centre at 9:30am to learn about vertical farming and how technology is providing more opportunities for healthy and clean food while supporting traditional farming.
Co-Founder of Eden Towers, Christian Prokscha will be speaking on his experience starting an indoor vertical farm and how the future of farming is looking more sustainable.
We will also have some fun and interact science activities for the kids to join in.
