Science, Sketch, Seaweed

Part scientific study, part creative exploration - this workshop brings together an opportunity to learn more about our underwater world from well regarded scientists, with an invitation to get creative - exploring sketching and print with artist Nadia Murphy.

Be taken on a journey of discovery as we map through different local Tasmanian seaweeds, learning, discussing, and drawing what we see in new and abstract ways.

Images created through this workshop will become part of a new creative work being developed by Big hART in 2023 called KELP - an immersive experience inspired by our coastal surroundings.

No experience required, just a desire to get creative.
