Conservation Science Symposium 2024
Event description
Join us for an afternoon of presentations, question and answer sessions, discussions and networking as we deep dive into the science work being done by the TLC and its partners across our reserves.
The TLC is committed to contributing to global best practice in nature conservation through science, innovation, collaboration and open communication. We look forward to sharing our research with you.
When: Thursday 22 August, arrive from 12.30 for a 1pm start
Where: Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR), 181 Macquarie Street, Hobart
The afternoon will open at 1pm with remarks from Dr Cath Dickson. It will be followed by researchers from around the state who will present their work in six-minute speed talks. You'll hear from scientists from the TLC, UTAS, the NSW Department of Primary Industries, Analytical Edge, Nature Glenelg Trust and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania. They will give us an insight into the breadth of their research and take audience questions.
