Are you craving a dash of SciSoc sweetness? Join us in Week 12 for an afternoon of creativity and charity at our Cupcakes for a Cause event!

Indulge your sweet tooth and showcase your decorating flair with an array of toppings from sprinkles and Maltesers to M&Ms and lollies. Whether you're a decorating novice or a confectionery pro, we welcome you to express your creativity!

A gold coin donation (cash or online) on the day let’s you participate, with all proceeds supporting three impactful charities:

• Deadly Science: Bridging the education gap by equipping Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth in remote areas with vital STEM resources.
• OzHarvest: Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, dedicated to nourishing communities by redistributing surplus food to those in need.
• Streetside Medics: Providing essential primary healthcare to the homeless via mobile medical vans staffed by accredited GPs.

Your participation helps educate young people, fill bellies, and heal lives. Join us in making a difference! This event is proudly part of SciSoc’s inaugural Philanthropy portfolio initiative, spearheaded by our 2024 Vice-President, in conjunction with the rest of the Core Executive.
