Scissor Beak

This is the culmination of project that provides musical education for 50 children, who currently have no current provision. The result is an original piece based on a local writers poem, which celebrates Stockbridge's own ‘Scissorbeak’- promoting community storytelling, the importance of local wildlife, and conservation. Professional musicians from a similar work will accompany.

This will be paired with a sister piece that was created for children in Kirkwall, Orkney and premiered earlier this year at the St Magnus festival - 'Jasper the Kirkwall Cat'.
