The Sydney Concert Orchestra was established to connect young musicians worldwide through an accessible orchestral medium. In this way, we are committed to fostering long-lasting collaborations to ultimately create a conducive learning environment. In addition, the upcoming orchestra tour to Indonesia is to celebrate and strengthen the vibrant musical connections between our two countries while honoring Indonesia's National Music Day in 2025.

As Australia’s closest neighbor, Indonesia boasts a rich musical talent, particularly in its renowned choirs. We are thrilled to collaborate and exchange our musical knowledge with Indonesian musicians, conductors, and choirs, sharing our diverse sound, even with our differences in cultures, ethnicities, and languages.

This tour is not only an opportunity to perform and learn together but also to foster lasting friendships and mutual appreciation through the universal language of music.
