Scorched Axis pres. Who Cares?, Elvis, Mia Marcelle, sowth
Description
This Saturday, we gather for an intimate evening of left-field folk wanderings with πΎππ πͺππππ?, π¬ππππ, π΄ππ π΄πππππππ and πΊππππ. Something to soothe as the leaves turn and the mornings begin to fill with dew.
Emerging quietly from Naarmβs DIY corners, Who Cares? have found a growing cult following both locally and abroad, transmitting their hazy strain of freak-folk toward those drifting home slowly with nowhere urgent to be.
Songs unearthed and passed quietly between friends, bedrooms, burnt CDs and house shows before taking on a life of their own. Melodies drifting through sharehouses at 2am, carried between cigarette breaks and tram windows fogged with rain.
Returning to The Grace Darling where some of their earliest shows first unfolded back in 2024, this is our love letter to the deeply adored self-titled EP that first surfaced online like a whispered secret, before finding its way into the hands of a growing constellation of admirers.
For the soft-hearted outsiders, quiet singalongs, and those staring softly at the ceiling whispering to themselves: ββ¦we care.β
