Scotch Business Directory Networking Event "Local Products Produce"
Event description
Old Scotch Collegians invites you to our second instalment of the Scotch Business Directory network events for
2023.
Join us as we explore the theme of Local Products Produce. In a world that increasingly values
sustainability, community engagement, and quality, there's no better time to explore the incredible potential of
local produce. Our event aims to showcase the success stories of individuals and organisations that have made a
significant impact by prioritising locally sourced and produced products in their businesses.
Network with business leaders from the Scotch College community and hear from our panel of expert guest speakers:
- Ben Braham (1996) Co-Owner and Director at Besk
- Guy Lyons (2001) General Manager & Winemaker at Forest Hill Vineyard
- John Cordin (2000) General Manager at Fins Seafood
Hosted at Besk, a spacious, warehouse-style bar, kitchen and bottleshop, offering a rotating and considered selection of beers, wine and spirits, and seasonal menus. Besk is a public house influenced by the love of the great local dining and drinking establishments from around the world.
Our panel of experts have generously provided samples of their produce which will be served on the night featuring a collaboration prepared by Besk’s executive chef.
