Scotland Sponsored Walk 4 Palestine

We are organising a sponsored walk to raise aid money and raise awareness for the people in Palestine. 🍉

🚶🏿‍♂️ 🚶🏽‍♀️ We're walking 27 Miles to symbolise the length of the evacuation trip from Northern Gaza to the South, that was enforced upon the Palestinians by the Israeli Occupational forces. The Israeli military dropped warning leaflets in Gaza, warning anyone living in Northern Gaza to relocate south within 24 hours. Palestinians were forced to walk for miles past Israeli tanks to escape non-stop bombardment. Others were internally displaced inside Gaza to schools and hospitals. In a single day, they had to walk miles under the sun, just to find safety, after Israel had announced they are strengthening their control over Gaza City. When they end up passing by Israeli occupation forces, they have to raise their hands and wave white flags to signal peace and that they are just trying to pass towards safety. Despite Israel claiming that the route is safe, they still ended up bombing people along the way. Video evidence have shown strikes on evacuating ambulances, trucks and civilians during their evacuation.

🥾 We will be walking towards Queensferry Forth Bridges Viewpoint and back.

You can join in the walk at any point along the route, and you can leave at any point along the route.

If you are unable to walk with us, you can sponsor someone to walk for you.

The route we are choosing will not be too difficult, so that it suitable for all levels of walkers.

You can walk, run, or even skip if you like :)!

Bring your Kuffeyas, Palestinian flags and small White flags if possible. This will be a silent walk to raise both money and mainly awareness.
