"Scotopia" is an eclectic series of short plays ranging in genre that address modern social issues through a scope that inverses norms, and challenges perceptions. Surrender assumptions and enter a dream you’ll awake from with resolutions, and ideas.
Don’t be afraid of the dark- hold my hand, I'll lead you through.
In the shadows you’ll find a starving wolf, 27 indictments against a man you may know, Karen, a butterfly birth, and a modern day martyr with bleeding palms. Stay focused, take deep breaths, one foot in front of the other, I’m here with you, we’re here together.
"Scotopia: Short Plays to Help You See in the Dark" is a new production by MoB Theatre, producers of Wilmington Reconstructed, Out, NC, Quilt Stories, and other local productions. MoB Theatre is a grassroots theatre ensemble-based company located in Wilmington, NC that creates theatre for social change.
