SCOTS PGC College Art Show
Event description
We are delighted to once again host the SCOTS PGC College Art Show which this year, is in honour of the late Mr John Simpson, who passed away in 2019 after a long battle with cancer.
Mr Simpson was a passionate educator and brilliant artist who taught at SCOTS PGC from 1966 through to 1999. He is also widely known and respected by the Warwick community for his legacy sculpture which pays homage to the contribution of horses to our region.
This year, the Art Show will feature works from students across the College and selected pieces from John Simpson as well.
Selected student work will be available for purchase via a silent auction and all proceeds will go towards funding an 'Artist in Residence' program.
The Art Show will also be open on Saturday 19 August from 9-10am at no charge - a perfect opportunity for guests who are joining us for the PGC 105 celebrations to enjoy the show.
