Event description

Hold onto your mulled wines and dust off your dryzabones — Naarm’s beloved slack-rock romantics Scott & Charlene’s Wedding are reuniting for one glorious, honest arvo of reflections at The Scenic Hotel in Norton Summit, Adelaide Hills. It’s all going down Saturday 16th August.

In support, we’ve got an eclectic all-star lineup that’s basically a sonic passport: Japan’s frenetic punks Tangingugun will be in tow, as well as Martin Frawley (of Twerps fame) delivering his wry and unapologetically honest songwriting solo-style. Local country bumpkins Ricky Albeck & The Belair Line Band are sure to cause the weather to change, and Japan’s genre-melting Messiah-to-Ninjin are set to deliver the goods before they jet back home the next day.

Kicking off in the late afternoon light and cruising into a starry Hills evening, this is your chance to bask in golden-hour nostalgia and indie-rock glory. Guitars will jangle, beers will clink, and yes—there may be a tear or two.

This is a one-off, not a maybe-next-time. Get there.
