SCRAP Queer Craft Night: Tiny Treasures! Tues., April 16 (MASKS-REQUIRED EVENT!)

HEY there!! Are you perhaps new to the city? Are you looking to meet and connect with other creative queer people? Do you ever feel kinda awkward doing the "let's-get-coffee" thing with a new friend, and wish you could do a VERY fun and cute activity together instead? Or do you want to make art with your existing friends, and meet new ones at the same time?! WELL...!!! Join us on Tuesday evening for a night of fun conversation and tiny treasures (yes, we have the American Girl official guidebook by the same name). Make miniature furniture, miniature books, miniature potted plants, and whatever else you can dream up. Come and craft ✂️ in 🤝 community! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤

Masking/Accessibility Note: This is a MASKS-REQUIRED event. SCRAP will provide any extra masks if needed. However, do take caution that in order to get to the Education Studio where the event will take place, participants will have to walk through the store, where customer mask-wearing is strongly encouraged but is not strictly enforced (for the safety of our staff).

Stay as long or short as you like, but be sure to arrive before 7pm! This will be an after-hours event; at 7pm, the store/registers will close, and the front door will lock to the shopping public. (Guests ready to head home will do so through our Donations door!)

Ages 18+.

To reserve your spot/seats before the event, tickets can be purchased in advance through Humanitix for a slight discount ($10 plus fees). Tickets sold at the door are $12. SCRAP prioritizes access to affordable art materials and expressions, so if the ticket price poses a hardship, please select the Sliding Scale ticket type on Humanitix. If you would like to contribute to someone else's ticket in addition to your own, please select the Pay It Forward ticket type and know that your contribution helps spread access to creative reuse and creative community-making! Please feel free to call the store (503-294-0769) on the day of the event if you have any questions.

All event ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If you cannot make it to the event, please feel free to send a friend in your place. If you are unable to do that, we still cannot refund your ticket, but you could think of your payment as supporting our SCRAPpy little creative reuse non-profit! We appreciate your support and understanding!
