SCRAP Recycled Paper Bowl Workshop
Event description
Ready to embark on a new reuse crafting journey, and get your hands doing some eco-friendly art this Thursday evening? We're excited to present to you: Recycled Paper Bowl-Making, taught by our very own SCRAP-per Riley! Together, we will use magazines, calendars and other recycled paper to make rolled-paper bowls. By rolling and then interlocking the rolled paper, we will create a rolled paper disk that can then be shaped into a bowl. To finish the bowl, we will coat both sides in Mod Podge or other craft glue. Simple, delightful, sustainable! Once dried, you can use your recycled paper bowl to hold your keys, your earrings, your tzochkes, or whatever else you'd like! Come craft and hang out at SCRAP for an evening of bowl-making! 🥣 *Craft example pictured on graphic!*
Beginner level; no experience required. Ages 14 and up.
