    Event description

Come along and learn how to make Scrappy Mushrooms from fabric with Elise Heather.

You are welcome to bring your own fabrics, otherwise all materials will be supplied.

Elise Heather is a Toowoomba based mixed media textile artist who makes out of her home-based studio in Wilsonton. Her works are inspired by nature, the unseen & forgotten and her experiences with ASD (as a neurodivergent person and parent to one). Elise is a self-taught artist who has developed her own techniques of mixing fibre and fabric with other materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Elise is an accomplished teacher who has been collaborating with different businesses, shopping precincts and councils to bring art to the public since 2016.

These workshops have been made available to the community with the assistance of the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) which is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Toowoomba Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
