Join the composting revolution happening across the Mid North Coast and learn how to turn your scraps to soil.

Come along to this FREE workshop to find out how to get started composting & worm farming at home to create rich compost to make your garden grow! 

You will learn the value of composting and how it works, setting up your system, managing and maintaining your new compost bin or worm farm, how to use compost products, troubleshooting and more.

This workshop is delivered by Port Macquarie-Hastings CouncilMidWaste

What to bring:

All our workshops are are held out of doors in a natural environment so please ensure you wear appropriate clothing, shoes & hat. Help up to keep this event low waste and BYO reusable water bottle. You may like to bring a notebook for jotting down ideas!

  1. The NSW Government no longer requires masks to be worn at Composting workshops and there is no need to provide proof of vaccination status. However, you may wish to BYO mask if you choose to wear one.
  2. If you are feeling unwell on the day of the workshop, please consider your community by informing us and by not attending.
  3. If you have been a close contact with anyone who has tested positive to COVID in the past week, we kindly ask that you attend one of our workshops at a later date.
