You will learn the value of composting and how it works, setting up your system, managing and maintaining your compost bin or worm farm, how to use compost products, troubleshooting and more.

This workshop is delivered by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, MidWaste

What to bring:

All our workshops are are held outdoors in a natural environment so please ensure you wear appropriate clothing, shoes, hat and gardening gloves. Help up to keep this event low waste and BYO reusable water bottle. You may like to bring a notebook for jotting down ideas!

This is an interactive workshop so the gloves will come in very handy. However, if you choose to watch rather than participate, that is fine also.

The NSW Government no longer requires masks to be worn at Composting workshops and there is no need to provide proof of vaccination status. However, you may wish to BYO mask if you choose to wear one.
