Are you brave enough to take part in a scary overnight ghost hunt for approximately 25 attendees, followed by a creepy sleepover inside one of Australia’s oldest prisons?

This is a place which was home to tens of thousands of the worst of the worst in the prison system in Australia, over the 174 years it was operational.

At the same time most people in the outside world would be going to bed, you get to take the plunge and experience a night of scary ghost hunting inside the formidable and incredibly haunted Parramatta Gaol, then settle down for a terrifying, chilling sleepover until the break of dawn.

Parramatta Gaol, an exclusive event to APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours, was built in 1837 and was listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

This creepy old prison comes with a turbulent, historical past, including hundreds of murders, accidental deaths and suicides.

What’s included in this ghost hunt:

8 hours in the gaol
Start the night with a ghost tour of the location
1.5 hours of set paranormal investigation vigils (Spiritual experiments, parapsychology and scientific vigils in the most active areas of the location.)
Free time to investigate by yourself
Onsite parking for those who are staying the whole night
Tea/coffee and snacks provided all night (while stocks last).

Strictly no alcohol permitted.

Unfortunately this location is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or people under the age of 18 years. There are stairs which need to be climbed to reach the sleeping areas.

Please dress for the weather, and bring insect repellant etc
Please bring a torch

Please bring your sleeping bag and pillow. A bed will be provided, but bedding must be bought by you
You are welcome to stay up all night and investigate, but please note staff may be sleeping.
