NUNU is proud to present a screening of "Pentecost Mass" with music legend and LEH Humanist Dickie Lancry. This special event will take place on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 at 6:00 pm at NUNU Arts & Culture Collective, located at 1510 Courtableau in Arnaudville, LA.
A Deeply Personal Work
"Pentecost Mass" is a deeply personal exploration of Landry's Catholic upbringing in Cecilia, Louisiana. The music piece was first performed at the Rothko Chapel in Houston and has since found audiences around the world, including a notable performance at the G20 Interfaith Forum in Bologna, Italy.
About Dickie Landry
A cornerstone of original music, Dickie Landry's career has spanned genres and continents. Landry's musical journey began at the age of six, singing Gregorian Chant in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Choir. He later went on to perform with avant-garde artists like Philip Glass and Laurie Anderson, and has collaborated with the likes of Paul Simon and Robert Plant.
