Screenprinting an X-file!

Dandenong Ranges Open Studios artist Mark Westaway is hosting two limited events on the last two Sundays in March.

A simple demonstration of adding the final colour to one of his 'X-files' screen prints, printing type characters from original FontAnimal fonts.

He will explain the processes performed up to that stage and briefly show the evolution of his group exhibition piece, 'Continuum'.

The techniques and equipment used are very 'old school' and basic, showcasing the simple action of 'pushing ink through mesh'.
