    Event description

    FOR AGES 18+

Scribblers and YA for WA invite all grown-up YA devotees and cosy mystery aficionados to an afternoon of thrills and intrigue. Enjoy afternoon tea and some murderous frivolity in the grand hall, followed by a conversation with Kate Emery and Bianca Breen about all things Agatha Christie, cosy mysteries and Kate's new YA novel, My Family and Other Suspects

Guests are encouraged to dress suitably for the occasion, as their most-loved of Miss Christie’s characters or in their favourite vintage attire – with prizes awarded to those deemed most dapper! (Optional)

    NOTE:

Attendees will have the chance to get books signed by Kate during this session. Copies of My Family and Other Suspects will be available for purchase at the Festival Bookshop in Cathedral Square. Please be aware that the bookshop closes at 4.00 pm so we advise those attending Murder in the Town Hall with Kate Emery to visit the bookshop prior to the start of the session.
