Event Description

Scuffathon is here 💀💻!! Come spend a night with CISSA and HackMelbourne making questionable projects while you eat and get drunk with friends 🍻🍕

On September 13th 📅, destress from your midsems and spend the night vibe coding something from scratch before presenting it in front of your fellow scuffers 🎤

Whether this is your 1st or 67th hackathon, all skill levels and backgrounds are welcome! Come with your homies 🫂 or meet new people to make something stupid together.

Don’t have a team? Come solo and we’ll help you find some fellow scuffers on the night 🤝💻

Note: All team members must purchase a ticket, and register as a team.

Eligibility

All current university students are welcome to participate.

You can come solo or with friends. If you don’t have a team, we’ll help you find one on the night.

Projects will be judged on scuff factor, creativity, execution and presentation. Technical complexity isn’t everything. A terrible idea can still take you pretty far.

Be scuffed, not cruel. Hateful, discriminatory or harmful content isn’t allowed. If you’re unsure about an idea, ask an organizer.
