• Who can attend?

  ScullyBug Escape Festival is designed for women aged 18 years and over who are looking for adventure, connection, relaxation and a whole lot of fun. Whether you're a busy mum, a business owner, a retiree, a FIFO worker, a creative soul, attending with your best friends or coming along solo, you'll be welcomed into a supportive and inclusive community.

  No special skills, fitness level or experience are required. Participate in as many activities as you like, or simply relax, unwind and enjoy the atmosphere. Our goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where women from all walks of life can make new friendships, try new experiences and create unforgettable memories together.

• What you need to know about booking a ticket

  From Booking to Arrival

  Getting started is easy! Simply purchase your festival ticket, choose your preferred accommodation option, and get ready for an unforgettable weekend of adventure, friendship and fun.

  Gates open from 10:00am on Friday, giving you plenty of time to arrive, check in and settle into your home for the weekend. Upon arrival, our friendly team will direct you to your accommodation area, where you can unpack, get comfortable and discover the exclusive goodie bags waiting for you.

  Festival activities officially kick off at 12:00 noon on Friday, so you'll have time to meet new friends, explore the festival grounds and soak up the atmosphere before the fun begins.

  If you're attending with a day pass or staying offsite, simply park in the designated parking area and make your way through the main entrance to join the festivities.

  Then it's time to relax, laugh, make memories and enjoy everything ScullyBug Escape Festival has to offer.

• Are payment plans available?

  Flexible Payment Plans Available

  Payment plans are now available from as little as $8 per week, making it easier than ever to secure your place at ScullyBug Escape Festival. The sooner you book, the lower your weekly repayments can be, so don't leave it too long. Lock in your preferred accommodation package and festival ticket today, then sit back, start the countdown, and get excited for an unforgettable weekend filled with adventure, friendship, laughter and memories that will last a lifetime.

• Do I need a car pass?

  Absolutely not! Parking is included for all festival attendees.

  All you need to bring is yourself, your bestie, your favourite outfit, a pillow, a sleeping bag, and a sense of adventure. Then get ready for a weekend filled with laughter, new friendships, unforgettable memories and experiences you'll be talking about long after the festival is over.

  We highly recommend car pooling as spaces will be limited.

  Please note that caravans, campervans and motorhomes are not permitted on site. Standard passenger vehicles only.

  And that's just the beginning! There will be an incredible assortment of workshops, activities, guest speakers, entertainment, social gatherings and experiences happening across the weekend, giving you the freedom to join in as much or as little as you like.

  Most importantly, your ticket includes a weekend surrounded by incredible women, plenty of laughs, new friendships, unforgettable memories and the opportunity to step away from everyday life and focus on you for a change.

  Please note: Food, beverages, bar purchases, specialty coffee, retail shopping and selected premium experiences may incur additional costs.

• What is your refund policy?

  ScullyBug Escape Festival – Ticketing, Cancellation and Transfer Terms

  By purchasing a ticket to ScullyBug Escape Festival, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions.

  1. No Refund Policy

  All ticket sales are final. Except where required by Australian Consumer Law, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable without prior approval from the Festival Organiser. Refunds will not be provided for change of mind, inability to attend, illness, injury, personal circumstances, work commitments, travel disruptions, accommodation issues, or weather conditions.

  2. Ticket Transfers

  Ticket holders who are unable to attend may apply to transfer their ticket to another person. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing and approved by the Festival Organiser. The Festival Organiser reserves the right to refuse any transfer request that does not comply with Festival policies.

  3. Accommodation and Group Packages

  Tickets purchased as part of a camping, glamping, accommodation or group package are considered a single booking. Individual tickets or components cannot be cancelled, refunded or transferred separately. Any approved transfer must apply to the entire package unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Festival Organiser.

  4. Festival Program and Activity Changes

  The Festival Organiser reserves the right to amend, substitute, reschedule or cancel any advertised activity, workshop, speaker, presenter, entertainment, venue, timetable or program component without prior notice. Such changes are considered a normal part of event management and do not entitle ticket holders to a refund, credit or compensation.

  5. Festival Cancellation

  If ScullyBug Escape Festival is cancelled by the Festival Organiser before commencement of the event, ticket holders may be offered a refund, credit towards a future event, or ticket transfer option at the sole discretion of the Festival Organiser, less any non-recoverable booking, administration, merchant processing or third-party fees where permitted by law.

  6. Events Beyond Our Control

  The Festival Organiser shall not be liable for any cancellation, postponement, interruption, modification or reduction of the Festival caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, extreme weather conditions, bushfires, floods, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government directives, venue restrictions, utility failures, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or any other event that makes it unsafe, impractical or unlawful for the Festival to proceed as planned.

  Where an Event Beyond Our Control occurs, the Festival Organiser reserves the right to postpone, modify, relocate or cancel the Festival. Refunds, credits or transfers will only be provided where required by law or at the sole discretion of the Festival Organiser.

  7. Payment Plans

  Where a payment plan is offered, the purchaser remains responsible for payment of the full ticket price. Failure to make scheduled payments may result in cancellation of the booking without notice. Any amounts already paid may be retained by the Festival Organiser to cover administration, reservation and event costs incurred.

  8. Limitation of Liability

  To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Festival Organiser accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, theft, injury, expense, delay, inconvenience or disappointment suffered by any attendee in connection with the Festival, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Australian law.

  Attendees participate in all activities, workshops, adventure experiences and recreational activities at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of participating.

  9. Australian Consumer Law

  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.

  10. Contact and Written Notices

  All requests relating to ticket transfers, booking amendments or exceptional circumstances must be submitted in writing to the Festival Organiser. Any approval, variation or exception granted by the Festival Organiser will only be valid if confirmed in writing.

• Tickets Terms for stall holders, presenters, staff and workshops

  Ticket Terms & Conditions

  The following terms apply to all attendees, presenters, workshop facilitators, vendors, stallholders, contractors, volunteers and staff participating in ScullyBug Escape Festival.

  🎟 All Bookings Are Final
  All ticket purchases, accommodation bookings, vendor sites, workshop bookings and participation fees are non-refundable for change of mind, incorrect purchases, personal circumstances, illness, work commitments, travel issues, weather conditions or any other reason. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer or privately on-sell your ticket or booking in accordance with Festival policies and with approval from Festival Management where required.

  🌦 Rain, Hail or Shine
  ScullyBug Escape Festival is an outdoor event and will proceed in most weather conditions. Attendees should come prepared for varying weather conditions and the great Australian outdoors.

  ❌ Event Cancellation
  In the unlikely event that ScullyBug Escape Festival is cancelled by the organisers and unable to proceed, ticket holders, vendors, presenters and workshop facilitators may be entitled to a refund of monies paid, less any non-refundable booking fees, transaction fees, payment processing charges or other third-party costs where permitted by law.

  ⚠️ Events Beyond Our Control
  The Festival Organiser reserves the right to postpone, modify, relocate or cancel the Festival due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, bushfires, floods, government directives, public health emergencies, venue restrictions or any other event that makes it unsafe or impractical to proceed.

• Can I attend for one day only?

  Can I Come for Just One Day?

  Absolutely! If you can't make the whole weekend, grab yourself a One Day Pass and come experience everything that makes ScullyBug Escape Festival so special.

  Join us for inspiring workshops, new friendships, wellness experiences, live entertainment, laughter-filled social events, campfire sing-alongs, personal growth sessions, creative activities, adventure experiences, dancing, connection and plenty of unforgettable memories.

  Whether you're coming with friends or arriving solo, you'll be welcomed into an incredible community of women who are all there to relax, have fun and make the most of life.

  Day Pass holders can enjoy the festival from 7:30am until 10:00pm, giving you a full day to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy everything on offer.

  Simply purchase your One Day Pass, bring your sense of adventure, and we'll see you at the festival!

• What are the Festival grounds like?

  What Are the Festival Grounds Like?

  ScullyBug Escape Festival is held in a beautiful outdoor setting with a mix of open spaces, activity areas and accommodation zones. While most areas are easily accessible, please note that there is a hill that attendees may need to navigate when accessing accommodation and certain parts of the site.

  If you have mobility concerns or require additional assistance, our friendly team is here to help. Golf cart transport will be available throughout the weekend, and we're happy to assist with getting you, your belongings, or your accommodation supplies where they need to go.

  If you have any mobility requirements or accessibility concerns, please let us know before or upon arrival so we can make any necessary arrangements to help you enjoy the festival comfortably and safely.

• Can I volunteer?

  Absolutely! We'd love to hear from you.

  If you're interested in becoming a presenter, workshop facilitator, entertainer, vendor, sponsor or part of the ScullyBug Escape Festival experience, please submit your Expression of Interest to hello@scullybugescapefestival.com.

  We're always looking for passionate people who can help create an unforgettable weekend of connection, adventure, learning and fun for our amazing festival community.

• Do I need to book in for the work shops?

  Yes. Many workshops, activities and experiences will require advance bookings, and we'll contact ticket holders when workshop registrations open.

  Booking ahead helps our presenters, instructors, facilitators and vendors prepare for attendee numbers, ensure adequate materials are available, and create the best possible experience for everyone involved.

  Don't worry – we'll provide all the information you need, including booking links, workshop details and release dates well before the festival, giving you plenty of time to plan your perfect weekend.

• What do I need to throw in my bag?

  The good news? This isn't roughing it. Your accommodation is comfortable, your weekend is planned, and we've done the hard work for you. All you need to do is pack your bags and get ready for an unforgettable weekend with an incredible bunch of women.

  🎭 Something fabulous for the Masquerade Party - a mask on it's own works great. Fancy dress is not needed however fabulous if you do. Just remember that a bush setting and high heels may not be best friends.
  📸 A change of clothes for the incredible mud run you will most likely jump into, cause why not?
  💰 Spending money for market stalls, specialty coffee, food, alcohol and optional extras

  Workshop & Wellness Extras

• Is alcohol allowed?

  Unfortunately, no. As ScullyBug Escape Festival is a licensed event, BYO alcohol is not permitted on site.

  The good news is that we'll have a fully licensed bar on site all weekend, serving a great selection of drinks and ready to help you celebrate, relax and enjoy the festival atmosphere with your fellow festival queens.

  So leave the esky at home, bring your dancing shoes instead, and let us take care of the drinks! 🍹💕
