Join us for a hike near Griffith Park and get to know the soil beneath your feet while creating a ceramic piece using locally processed clay. Guided by clay artist Evelyn Hernández, participants will learn to identify clay and earthen pigments in their natural habitat while deepening their relationship to the land they stand on. In between the hike, you’ll have the opportunity to shape clay, drawing inspiration from your surroundings.

This workshop will take place offsite and outdoors. Exact location will be provided after ticket confirmation.
