Sculptural Candle Making Workshop with Hopeworld

Spend an evening in the enchanting world of Hopeworld and use candle-making as a ritual for creativity and calm <3. 

Join candlemaker Hope for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the art of making a sculptural candle from scratch. Choose from a selection of handmade moulds, then be guided through the delicate process of colouring, scenting, and pouring wax into a creation of your own. You’ll discover Hopeworld’s signature marbling technique — a special process that creates a beautiful patina across the surface of the candle. No two pieces emerge the same, which makes your candle truly unique.

The workshop will last for an hour and you will be making a candle worth $50. After the workshop, once your candle is hardened, Hope will airbrush and package it for you. You can then come and collect the candle from Rikota on weekdays from 10-6, or we can organise postage. 

All materials are provided, including vegan candle wax and paraben-free scents. The workshop will take place on Wednesday the 14th October at 6pm or 7.30pm; feel free to BYO, we’re excited to meet you!
