Event description
Sculpture on the Edge is a renowned annual sculpture competition hosted by Arts Connect Inc in the scenic Sunshine Coast Hinterland. In 2023 the exhibition of selected entries by artists from near and far will be displayed at Flaxton Gardens, one of the Sunshine Coast’s most scenic wedding and event venues with panoramic views of the coastline from Noosa to Caloundra. Artworks include indoor and outdoor sculptures across a variety of media and the winning artist will be awarded the $10,000 first prize, generously donated by Flaxton Gardens.
Now in its 13th year, Sculpture on the Edge continues to grow and will feature a wide selection of artworks for all ages to appreciate. Thanks to generous support from our sponsors, donors and event partner, Flaxton Gardens, the event is an outstanding cultural experience for art lovers and visitors. The 2023 program includes the annual exhibition, workshops, artist talks and special events to create a deeply immersive creative experience for everyone to enjoy.
Tickets available for adults ($10+BF), concession holders ($5+BF) and children (free).
Discounted Season Passes available prior to the event and all adults at concession price ($5+BF) on 'Half Price Tuesdays'.
All adult admission ticket holders will receive the event catalogue on entry.
The entry gate opens at 8am and closes at 3:30pm with all visitors expected to exit the venue by 4pm.
Entry may be delayed at the gate for safety reasons should visitor numbers exceed acceptable levels.
Please be mindful that Mondays are especially for people who struggle with crowds and noise, including neurodivergent guests.
Pets not permitted (service dogs excepted).
