Join the South East Local Land Services Biosecurity Team for an engaging workshop on managing one of the region’s most common pests: feral rabbits.
Event details:
The Bega Valley is facing a growing population of wild rabbits, particularly around Merimbula and nearby areas. The South East Local Land Services Biosecurity Team in Bega is working to help landholders - from large farms to small residential blocks manage this problem.
At the workshop, you’ll learn about the rabbit lifecycle, why they thrive, and practical strategies to control their numbers. Topics include backyard-proofing, trapping, and baiting techniques for larger properties.
This event is open to anyone experiencing rabbit issues who wants hands-on, practical advice.
