Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Social Traders has decided to postpone the networking event scheduled for March 31st and redesign the activity in an online format. We are primarily concerned with the need to protect stakeholders and staff. Please bear with us as we change our approach and we will be in touch soon with further details. Event description

Social Traders has been working to facilitate deals between our Social Traders business and government members and certified social enterprise members since 2015. Over that time, the networking events have proven to be very effective at creating new and valuable connections. 

This Social Traders Networking event is specifically curated for social enterprises and business and government members working in Maintenance, Construction & Waste, including cleaning, horticulture, general maintenance, sustainable waste solutions, cleaning products, plants, construction related services, etc.

This event includes structured networking and an informal lunch.

Please note, places are limited to one representative per social enterprise. As part of ST certification, each certified social enterprise receives access to one free networking event per year.

9:30 - 10:30 am: SOCIAL ENTERPRISE FORUM

Open only to #STcertified social enterprises. This session will cover social enterprise procurement updates and informal social enterprise networking.

ST business and government members and ST certified social enterprises will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and have short conversations in a format that’s designed to maximise the opportunity to meet a range of prospective social enterprise suppliers and buyer members.

12:15 - 1:30 pm: INFORMAL NETWORKING & LUNCH

In the interests of minimising potential health risks for all attendees, if you are not feeling well or have recently travelled to any country considered Higher and Moderate risk by the Australian Government, Social Traders asks that you exercise extra caution before registering for a Social Traders’ event.

Australian Government Department of Health has advised good personal hygiene remains the most effective way to avoid COVID-19 infection, including:

· Regular hand-washing with soap and water;

· Covering of the mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing;

· Avoiding close personal contact with other participants 

Social Traders are continuing to monitor the situation and will respond accordingly to advice from Governments and the Department of Health
