Sea Lake AstroFest - Nightscape Imaging Session Sunday

Ever wanted to capture Lake Tyrrell the way the professionals do? To come away with that perfect nightscape, the Milky Way mirrored in the salt, exposed and composed like an expert? Then this boutique DSLR astrophotography session is for you.

Learn from one of the best in the business. Award-winning nightscape photographer Alex Cherney, a two-time winner of the international STARMUS astrophotography competition whose images of Lake Tyrrell have featured with National Geographic and The World At Night, will guide you through shooting the night sky with your DSLR on location. You'll cover camera settings, composition, focusing in the dark, and the planning that separates a good night-sky shot from a great one, all under some of the darkest skies in Victoria.

Bring your DSLR and a sturdy tripod, this is long-exposure work. Meeting at the Lake Tyrrell Viewing Platform (Upper Car Park).
