Because one Sea MERC Day just wasn’t enough this year!

Join us for a special mini-Sea MERC Day for some more fun connecting to the ocean through on the water activities and marine science learning. Our squid and shark dissections at Sea MERC Day last weekend were so popular that we’re following them up with a kingfish dissection! Leigh Fish generously donated two kingfish for this educational dissection.

If you didn’t make it out last weekend or if you want to come back for more please register here and we’ll see you there! You can sign up for the activities you’d like to participate in once you’re there, first come first served!

Nestled beside the ocean at the southern end of Long Bay Beach in Auckland — right at the interface of the Long Bay–Okura Marine Reserve and the Long Bay Regional Park — we invite learners of every age, stage and ability to connect with Aotearoa’s marine environment in meaningful ways.
