SEA Sessions
The SEA Sessions (Surf Witches Education Activity Sessions) are designed to provide our members and the surfing community with the opportunity to learn more about the surfing environment and pick up some hints and tips on how we can grow and develop as surfers.
Build Your Ocean Confidence
The first SEA Session of the year will start by giving us a refresher on basic surf etiquette, how to prep ourselves before a surf and what to look out for in the water.
After a short break, we then move into an amazing session delivered by Sal Howe, owner of Flowstate Mind-Breath-Motion, looking at functional breathing and surf apnea. The information and skills you will be introduced to can help with preparing you for your best surf, calm your nerves when you encounter an intense ocean situation and introduce how the 'recovery breath' technique can really help you out when you are getting smashed by those rogue waves!
The night is set to inform, inspire and get us working towards optimal breathing patterns to help us be our best when we are out in the ocean in any conditions. This session is a great opportunity for beginners and seasoned surfers alike to provide us with some new information or a reminder of the tools we have at our disposal every time we hit the surf.
So join us for a fun, casual, informative evening and get ready to take your surfing to the next level!

Doors open: 6:00pm
Session Starts: 6:30pm with a short break for food and refreshments inbetween
Session Ends: 8:30pm
Tickets* Include: 1 X Drink on arrival and light buffet style food.
Parking: Parking is available on the streets surrounding the venue, at Currumbin Alley car park and across the road in Currumbin Vikings car park.

Under 18s are able to attend but must also purchase a ticket. For under 18's a members ticket may be purchased.
