Description

Meet the brands putting circular design into practice

As part of the independent event program for Melbourne Fashion Week 2026, Seamless is bringing together Australian clothing and uniform brands to explore how circular design can shape Australia’s clothing future.

Hosted by Danielle Kent, General Manager, Industry Transformation at Seamless, the panel will feature brands putting circular design into practice. Hear how they are approaching materials, garment design, durability and end-of-life, and the practical changes they’re making to create clothing that lasts longer and can be more easily reused and recycled.

You’ll also hear insights from Seamless’ circular design training, designed to help clothing and uniform businesses turn circular design principles into practical action.

What you’ll take away

Get practical ideas you can apply to your own organisation, no matter where you are on your circularity journey. From recycled materials and preferred fibres to trims and garment durability, you’ll leave with practical ideas to help make clothing more considered, longer lasting and easier to recycle.

Who should attend

This event is for current and future leaders, designers and sustainability professionals working across Australia’s clothing sector. Whether you work for a start-up, small business, established brand, uniform business or major retailer, you’ll gain practical insights to take back to your organisation.

It’s also relevant to fashion design students and others looking to build their understanding of circular clothing design. Wherever you are on your sustainability journey, you’ll leave with ideas you can put into practice.
