What if the perfect outfit was already hanging in your wardrobe, just waiting to be reimagined?

Seams Like New is a collaborative upcycling workshop where creativity meets sustainability. Hosted at the beautiful Sensational Sewing studio in Toowoomba, this three-hour hands-on session brings together the styling expertise of KindHer Threads and the sewing knowledge of Sensational Sewing's team for a morning that is practical, playful, and a little bit transformative.

Whether you have a pair of jeans that no longer fits the way you want, a blouse you have not worn in years, or a dress that just needs something extra, this workshop will help you see your wardrobe with fresh eyes and leave with a piece you are genuinely excited to wear.

No sewing experience is required. Our facilitators will guide you through every step, and light refreshments will be provided to keep you going through the morning.

What to bring:

One garment you would like to upcycle
Any haberdashery you have at home (buttons, ribbon, lace, trims, patches) or ideas you would like to explore
Your ideas and your curiosity

Everything else, including sewing machines, tools, and good company, will be taken care of.

Your ticket does more than get you through the door. KindHer Threads is an ACNC-registered charity operating on a Style It Forward model, where paid experiences fund complimentary styling experiences for women in the Toowoomba community referred through our partner organisations. When you come to Seams Like New, you are helping another woman access a styling experience that can genuinely change how she sees herself.

Places are strictly limited to ensure every participant gets hands-on guidance. This one will fill quickly.

Tickets: $110 per person (+booking fee).
