SONIC SUNDAYS: FT. Sean van Doornum AKA eüsh
Event description
Sonic Sundays at the Funhaus Factory
FunHaus is thrilled to feature composer, performer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Seán van Doornum
Seán van Doornum's work floats between baroque-pop, experimental-rock, alt-country, and mysterious sea shanties, - Under the alias eüsh, Seán crafts songs that fuse classic songwriting with avant-garde sound design—meditative vocals dissolve into nebulous harmonies, conjuring the warm, primitive colours of dusk.
Trained at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, Seán has composed for film, theatre, and the concert stage. After over a decade in New York—managing studios, performing live, and scoring for screen and stage. His work has featured at the SOHO International Film Festival and the Hollywood Fringe, and he has been honoured with the Allan Zavod Jazz/Classical Composition Award, an Australia Council ArtStart Grant, and the Conrad Pope Scholarship.
Seán has released six albums as eüsh, the most recent release from 2023, Seán collaborated with virtuosic award-winning Guitars, Ben Hauptmann.
