We are super excited to welcome the awesome DJ / Producer Sgt. Slick, producer of the ARIA Gold Certified ABBA cover, ‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!’ in 2020 (Beatport’s highest selling Nu Disco single of all time!).
Sgt Slick is one of the nation’s most prominent and enduring industry figures, continually pushing forward as a world class DJ, producer and remixer.
Also on the decks will be Mr Sparkle, fresh from his awesome recent set at PAST : PRESENT : FUTURE > he never disappoints. Support as always from resident DJ Neil Roberts.
Expect an electrifying soundtrack of house music, paired with breathtaking coastal views, a vibrant crowd, and an atmosphere like no other — all while supporting a great cause.

Melbourne based producer and DJ Sgt. Slick has been a solid fixture behind the decks and on dance music charts and radio for the better part of 20 years. He has a huge list of achievements to his name including ARIA / APRA Awards and nominations, Billboard, Music Week, Traxsource & Beatport # 1 Records, and a string of successful music releases.
Armed with a continuous delivery of his trademark ‘Discotizer ReCuts’, he also produced the crossover radio hit and ARIA Gold Certified ABBA cover, ‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!’ in 2020 (Beatport’s highest selling Nu Disco single of all time!)… a track which is still filling dance floors in 2024 and one which has seen The Sarge headlining the nation’s biggest clubs and events week after week since.
He has graced the cover of Spotify’s esteemed ‘New Dance Beats’ playlist twice, is ranked # 6 on Beatport’s highest selling artists of all time in the ‘Nu Disco’ genre, and reached the # 1 position on Shazam’s Discovery Australia Chart! His recent remixes and productions have earnt him regular support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Diplo, Fisher, Vintage Culture, Kygo and Tame Impala, whilst at home he continues to land in the upper reaches of the ARIA Club Chart with every release.

One of Queensland’s hardest working party starters, engineering all manner of social interaction in rooms big and small, DJ Mr Sparkle seeks to create a convivial atmosphere through funky, soulful goodness and superbly spun tunes of gold.
Taking on any party situation, Sparkles’ backs himself with a lifetime of interaction with music and over 20 years as a professional DJ playing throughout Queensland, interstate and
overseas.
Holding numerous long term club residencies in Brisbane and playing way too many festivals, pubs, bars, corporate events and tours such as the Ministry of Sound Queensland tours, Sparkles’ experience stands firm. Check Sparkles’ out real soon! He’s worth it!

Neil has now been DJing nearly 30 years, playing at events all over the world. Throughout his career, Neil has had a diverse musical style, spanning from funky vocal house, nu-disco, house, deep and progressive house and club classics with his longer, more immersive sets earning him a reputation for delivering memorable performances.
Neil's Seas The Beat Charity Boat Parties have sold out in advance each time they have run. He has raised nearly $12,500 this year alone for charities such as Waves Of Wellness, Lily House & The Journeymen, Starlight Childrens Foundation, SunnyKids. He is a regular at Sunshine Coast Venue Savvy Squire (weekly Saturdays), Wat Den (days vary to suit events). Neil is also organising charity events at Savvy Squire in the coming months and his recent Journey charity event at Villa Noosa where he played a 5 hour set '30 years of dance music' was a huge success.
By the mid-2000s, Neil had become one of Wales' most prominent house DJs, regularly performing at venues like Escape in Swansea, Godskitchen in Birmingham, and his residencies at En Rouge and Funkathon in Cardiff. His career began in the early 1990s, when he immersed himself in Cardiff’s underground dance scene and later shifted from club-goer to DJ in 1995. He quickly gained recognition by promoting and DJing at Cardiff's leading venues, including The Hippo Club and Emporium.
Neil's event FunkyDory won Best Pre-club three times in the Welsh Music Awards. His career took a major leap when he was ranked in the World's top 150 by DJ Magazine readers, playing at major festivals, including Escape Into The Park four years running including the Mixmag Future Heroes Tent and the Defected In The House Arena alongside the biggest names in the industry.
His event organizing and international performances solidified his status as a rising DJ in the global dance music scene. He brought in Swedish House Mafia's Axwell, 'Onephatdeeva' ATFC, former loaded magazine model turned DJ Rebekah, Greg Vickers from Sankeys and many others to his En Rouge event in Cardiff.
Alongside his DJ career, Neil founded the Offitsface website in 1999, which grew into one of the most popular online platforms for dance music, attracting millions of visitors from over 100 countries. The website, which featured DJ biographies, mixes, club listings, tune reviews gained significant recognition, with press coverage on shows like Graham Gold’s Kiss FM and The Slammin’ Boys on Galaxy 102, as well as a positive review on National TV via ITV’s The Web Review. The site reached its peak with two million page views per month and had a robust community of over 10,000 members. Neil later relaunched the site as Dancemuzik, which continued until 2010.
