Event description

March Street Community Garden invites you to join local illustrator Gemma Kirschner this spring to capture the seasonal beauty of our garden.

Using watercolour and coloured pencils, you'll paint the gardens blooms and learn about the pollinators that keep them thriving.

Get expert tips from environmental scientist Tristan on how to turn your garden into a haven for biodiversity. He'll teach you to recognise beneficial insects, learn what it is that bees actually do and how to provide hideouts for bugs.

Drinks and snacks are provided but feel free to bring along a picnic lunch. You’ll also be able to browse our produce or Gemma’s art at our mini market stalls.

Whether you're a green thumb, an art enthusiast, or just looking for a chance to connect with your community, this is an event you wont want to miss.

We hope to see you there!
