Join workshop leaders Jodie and Ruth around a campfire (under cover!) in the beautiful, tranquil, woodland setting of Found Outdoors to be inspired by nature as they guide you on a mindful journey.

You’ll learn and practise some key mindfulness techniques (which you can recreate at home when things get busy), tap into your creativity with mindful writing exercises, and connect with other, like-minded people over tea and homemade cake.

Whether you’re keen to reconnect with your creativity, to explore mindfulness in more depth or you’ve never considered either before, these sessions are for you. The perfect opportunity to take a little time out, value yourself and restore your equilibrium.

The activities will be:
• Mindfulness with Jodie
• Grounding walk through the woodland and fields
• Creative writing to unfold your thoughts with Ruth
• Meditation with Jodie
• Hot drinks and campfire social time

We start with Lorna guiding you to focus on your senses and gently calm even the busiest of minds.

This is followed by a guided walk through the woods and around the paths in the meadow.

Next we wander back through the fields and woodland to gather around the camp fire for our creative wring session to unfold and unfurl your thoughts.

Whether you write regularly or haven't written since school, Ruth will provide the structures and prompts from her own #WalkingWords project to enable you to explore the wonderful world around us in words.

We'll finish off the session with a final meditation to set you up for the week ahead.
