Event description

Welcome to the Seasons of the Womb.

In this workshop we will journey with the seasons of our Wombs and find the relation of our cycles with the cycles of the moon, seasons, nature's elements and our life cycle as a woman. Sitting in circle with other Women, we create a mandala of safety, surrender and connection. As we delve into the cycles we can share our experiences with other women and re-member ourselves in the true and old practises of our blood cycles, feeling the empowerment of what it is to be Woman!

This workshop is designed for Women of all ages and in any stage of their life cycle, Maiden, Mother, Maga, Crone are all welcome in this circle as each stage of Woman in life has her own wisdom and experience to share. As we see the cycles we remember the old wisdom that lives within us, our blood and heritage and can reconnect with the wisdom within. Learning the offering of prayers and celebrations for each part of our cycle we start to come back into a deeper sense of alignment with ourselves and the natural world around us.

We will go through sharing practises, imparting our own wisdom and experiences with one another. A drum journey to enter our womb and connect with the Wisdom Goddess within. Sit in circle and remember together the cycles of nature and the mirror of those within.

I highly encourage Mothers to bring their daughters, whether bleeding or not, so we can encourage connection and wonder in the young women, to honour and love their menstrual cycles. To encourage a change for the better for the future generations of our blood lines.

Dr. Sally Taylor is a doctor of Chinese medicine, a ZenThai Shiatsu therapist and teacher; as well as a yoga teacher. Although most of her studies are rooted in Chinese medicine, she has experienced teachings in different traditions including those from India, the Americas as well as old Western traditions. In her work she pulls from all of these inspirations to stay in touch with the cycles of nature, life and her health. Sally loves to share these insights and inspirations that she has learnt with other women in the hopes that more of us will stand connected and rise rooted in the foundations of a loving connection and relationship with the cycles of nature and themselves.
