Join us during conservation week for a special event celebrating seaweed!

 Have a go at identifying some of our local seaweed species at this hands on, after work seaweed session in Miramar. You can find out more about the Love Rimurimu project, and meet the team working to restore seaweed in Te Motu Kairangi/ Miramar Peninsula. 

What’s Love Rimurimu? Imagine the waters of Wellington sustaining a healthy and vibrant ocean forest; able to absorb more carbon than trees, improving water quality and providing habitat for thousands of marine creatures.
